OUR STORY

Mascot Front v2_edited.jpg

The Mascot Gallery is an independent space for creatives to exhibit and develop their work, whether it's art, music or Jewellery. We have a Gallery/performance space, a recording/writing studio, a resident jeweller and jewellery work shop. We offer temporary or residential availability for the work space and can help to organise and promote exhibitions and events for the artist.

The Mascot had been boarded up for twenty years, After 2 years of restoration we were finally able to open in July 2021.

We aim to support locally, engage with our new environment and help, develop and support the many talented people of Thanet.

We also aim to bring new and interesting ideas to the gallery combining music and art in collaborations with old friends and new.

The Mascot is run by Musician and Curator Andrew Waterworth and Jeweller and Events Manager Claudia Rice.

Andrew is a graduate of Trinity Music collage and Claudia a graduate of Central St Martins.
